First let me say our grading system is whacked, however the solution is not to make it more whacked. Ed commissioner Tony Bennett, one states trash, another’s treasure has said Florida for the second year in a row shouldn’t allow schools to drop more than one letter grade. This effectively means every school that sees a drop has a suspect grade and that in Florida appearances trump reality.
