Teacher Appreciation in the US is the week of May 7-12, with Teacher Appreciation Day being May 8th.

These days it seems teachers are under fire everywhere and by everyone. It would be nice if someone would just stop and say "thank you" to a teacher. We all work hard, facing huge challenges everyday. A thank you would go a long way.
